Rental Dress Policy
Please read the complete policy before renting or reserving the dress!
Affordable Hoco Prom is a way to rent a nice dress for homecoming, prom, or any other special events without having to pay high prices for a one time event!
We keep our dresses affordable and exclusive so that our customers feel good from the moment they walk through that special event’s hallway!
This is how Affordable Dress Rental works:
Customers have the opportunity of reserving the dress they like up to 8 days prior to their special event for a $15USD cash deposit, or they can rent it 7 days prior to the event, if the desired dress is available.
Dresses can be reserved 28 days prior to the event but no later than 8 days from such event. Customers must go to the website and click “Rent Now” to make the payment for the dress once they have reached 7 days prior to the event.
Customer is responsible for remembering to click “Rent Now” by the 7 days prior to the event, or deposit will be forfeited.
Customer must provide the specific date and location of the event at the moment of dress reservation or dress rental. This is to make sure dresses are available and ready to be picked up.
Dress is to be picked up between 3 to 5 days after the rental payment has been processed, and to be returned to us 2 days after the event.
Payment for dress “Rent Now” would be $15USD less than “Reserve Now” dresses. This would count as a deposit to ensure the customer doesn’t reserve the dress, change their mind, and take away the opportunity of another girl to enjoy her special event with that special dress. Once the dress is picked up, the deposit will be refunded. Refund will be completed within 5 days.
Dresses are to be returned clean and in the same condition that they were received.
There will be a “return as received” cash deposit of $20USD which will be refunded once the dress is received and verified that it is in the same condition as it was provided to the customers. Refund will be completed within 5 days after dress return-verification. If dress is not in the condition it was received as, $20USD will not be returned.
As a rule, Affordable Dress Rental will “remove” the dresses that were rented within a time period from our site, so no other girl can wear the same dress while it’s still remembered by friends and peers. The dress will be in “hibernation” on our site for a total of four years. For example, a dress rented for Hoco or prom in the 2026 school year won’t be available for rent again in the “Tallahassee area” until 2030. This means, if you like a dress, you should secure that dress right away, or you won’t be able to get it for a while. It makes sense!
Affordable Hoco Prom (Yarisha Boutique) reserves the right to rent the dress if it will be used in a different area within those four years.
If you do not see a dress that you like, please contact us at affordablehocoprom@gmail.com since we might have other dresses available that has not been posted on the website yet. Please included in your email the color, size, style (short, long sleeves, etc.), or any other details of the dress you are looking for.
Dress Try-On
For try-on, the customers must not be wearing perfume, deodorant, make-up, hair products, or have their hair wet. This is to make sure our dresses continue to be in excellent condition and affordable. Don’t worry; you are still very beautiful without all of those things!
Dresses are “first come, first serve.” Please contact us as soon as you see a dress you like to request a try-on, or if any clarification on the policy is needed.

We usually reply to emails within 24 hours. If it is a last minute dress emergency, please indicate it on the subject line of your email. You will receive special instructions for try-on or whatever the emergency is.
Please contact us at one of the emails only, this would alleviate the confusion and the time of matching and realizing the email comes from the same customer.
